SEASIDE SEAMS — SHOP POLICIES
Welcome — we’re so glad you’re here.
Every Seaside Seams piece begins with an upcycled, well-loved quilt: thoughtfully sourced, carefully restored, and reimagined into something new. These textiles have lived a life before us — our role is simply to honour their story.
By making a purchase, you are agreeing to the policies below.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL — NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
Because our pieces are made from one-of-a-kind vintage quilts (and each item is completely unique), we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. Once an item is claimed, it’s yours to love forever.
We encourage you to review the listing details and photos with care before purchasing. If you have a question, please reach out — we’re always happy to help.
VINTAGE TEXTILES / PERFECTLY IMPERFECT
Our quilts are rescued from attics, auctions, and linen cupboards across North America. Their age and history may show up as gentle fading, small markings, or charming imperfections. We mend where needed, reinforce weak seams, and restore with deep respect — but we do not erase their story.
These little quirks are not flaws.
They are proof that your piece has lived a beautiful life before you.
CARING FOR YOUR SEASIDE PIECE
To protect the integrity of the quilt:
Hand wash cold + hang to dry only.
Avoid washing machines, dryers, or harsh cleaners — they can damage the fibres and alter the drape of the quilted fabric.
Treat it with the same care you would give to any heirloom.
If you’d like extra photos, measurements, or help choosing a piece, just send us a message — we love talking quilts.
Thank you for supporting slow fashion, textile rescue, and a little bit of history stitched into something new.
